About the event

The mission of Colorado Parks and Wildlife is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state, to provide a quality state parks system, and to provide enjoyable and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities that educate and inspire current and future generations to serve as active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.

CPW currently employs 3 K9 Officers: Samson, Cash, and Sci. The K9 program has been hugely succesful and is funded solely through donations. Samson, Cash, and Sci are nationally certified wildlife law enforcement dogs. Their unique skills allow them to protect their handlers, apprehend suspected poachers, and identify and locate endangered species. CPW needs your help for ongoing training and supplies to maintain the K9 program!
